Overall Rating

A 0–99 composite score comparing a player or team to all others in the same category across the current season. 99 = best in the league, 60 = average, below 60 = below league standard.

YPPG NFL

Yards Per Play — Offensive

Total offensive yards divided by total offensive plays. Measures how efficiently an offense generates yardage on every single play, regardless of play type.

OYPPG NFL

Opponent YPPG

Yards per play allowed by the defense. Lower is better. Used to measure defensive efficiency against the offensive YPPG of opponents.

YPPG Diff NFL

YPPG Differential

Offensive YPPG minus Opponent YPPG. A positive number means the team gains more yards per play than it gives up — the single strongest predictor of team success.

PPK NFL

Points Per Kick

A kicker rating metric: (FGM × weighted distance value + XPM) ÷ total attempts. Weights longer kicks more heavily — a 50-yard FG is worth more than a 25-yarder.

PPP NFL

Points Per Punt

A punter efficiency metric combining net yards, touchbacks, and punts inside the 20. Higher = better field position created per punt.

WAR All

Wins Above Replacement

How many wins a player contributes above what a league-average replacement would. Combines offensive, defensive, and special teams contributions.

RTG NFL

Passer Rating

NFL passer rating formula combining completion %, yards per attempt, TD%, and INT%. Scale of 0–158.3; 100+ = elite.
