OVR Soccer

Overall Rating

A 0–99 composite score combining goals, assists, xG, shots on target, and defensive contributions relative to all players in the same league.

xG Soccer

Expected Goals

The probability that a shot results in a goal based on shot location, angle, shot type, and assist type. Goals scored above xG = clinical finishing; below = poor finishing or bad luck.

xGA Soccer

Expected Goals Against

xG conceded by the defense/goalkeeper. A keeper's save percentage vs. xGA reveals true shot-stopping ability beyond what raw goals allowed shows.

SoT Soccer

Shots on Target

Shots that would have gone in without a save or hit the post. Divided by total shots to get shot accuracy.

CS Soccer

Clean Sheets

Games where the team/goalkeeper conceded zero goals. One of the primary metrics in the goalkeeper OVR calculation.

POSS% Soccer

Possession Percentage

Share of total playing time a team controls the ball. High possession + high xG = dominant team; high possession + low xG = inefficient.
